JULY WORKSHOP: PUBLIC TRANSPORT IS A DISGUSTING SWEAT BOX… PRODUCE YOUR OWN BREEZE CYCLING!

People…. if you have not noticed… it’s HOT! And that means that the tube is disgustingly sticky… buses are sweaty… and trains are smelly… Taking public transport is miserable in this heat!

The alternative is to generate your own breeze…. cycling! And we promise you, you will enjoy it much more! Think about riding alongside the river… the canal… to your favourite beer garden… it’s divine, we promise you!

July 12th

To help you do that and abandon the #sweatbox public transport is at the moment , we are hosting our regular #free #bike workshop on July 12th: so take your underloved bike out of the shed/corridor/garden, and bring it along theOld School Rooms of the Round Chapel, Clapton, #Hackney.

On that Thursday, our experienced mechanics can help you diagnose problems and teach you how to fix them. It’s our only appointment in July so don’t miss out: every sunny day you take the bus is a day of regret and self-blame for not fixing your bike! Time to join the pedal brigade and enjoy the breeze on your way to work! Life is really too short not to ride in this glorious weather!

To recap, see you on THURSDAY JULY 12TH,7-9PM at the Old School Rooms of the Round Chapel, Clapton, #Hackney (Check our About page for address details ).

Usual reminder and kind plead: we are a volunteer-run, donation-based group, meaning that this workshop entirely relies on donations from the London cycling public to survive, so donate if you can. Even a couple of pounds make a difference to us!

Also, we are recruiting volunteer bike mechanics, best if qualified but if you know how to fix, we would love to hear from you. Get in touch or come along: we would love to get to know you!
